First of all, let’s not forget that we are talking about a breed, which was bred to hunt. For this reason Scottish Deerhounds need a lot of daily exercise and running.
This breed should be kept in fenced yard, more than in a apartment, or small garden. The coat of the Deerhound doesn’t need no be taken care of every day, but should be brushed weekly.
